Decal Paper

  • Our Decal Paper is made in small batches to keep supply as fresh as possible
  • Large or Specialized Orders that extend beyond our On-Hand supply may take additional time to ship

  • If you have problems with our decal paper, we will replace it (up to 6 months from date of purchase)

    Problem paper must be returned.

General & Shipping
  • Orders are typically shipped Thursdays, with other drops throughout the week as needed.
  • Domestic Shipping is generally done via USPS.
  • FedEx Shipping is available by request.
  • Orders over $150 will be sent with appropriate insurance.

Started by Tom Prestia as a favor to a fellow rocketry modeler who was looking for Out Of Production decals and ran as a one-man operation, Tom described the business as having grown into a "monster" by the year 2000.

Now a provider of waterslide paper stock to nearly every corner of the hobby and professional printing market, the name Tango Papa Decals is well known for quality paper.

Tom's reproduction decal sheets and resin kits are well known by those who share his hobby of model rocketry and show his attention to detail. With hundreds of reproduction sets redrawn by Tom, many out of production and long gone model kits have found their chance to be completed

With the sale of Tango Papa Decals to CMR Products completed in late 2021, Tom is now free to enjoy his hobby and retirement with his family.
Decal Sets
  • At this time we are unable to provide a time frame in which Decal Sets featuring metalic printing will return due to our printing process change.
  • Decal Sets are printed to order to ensure freshness.
  • Allow up to three weeks for delivery of decal sets, based on current workload.
  • Any decal set can be ordered in other scales, please Contact Us if you require a different size.
  • Any decal set can be ordered printed on clear self-adhesive vinyl by request.

Custom Decals
  • Artwork Setup Fee for Custom Desgined Decals - $35
  • No set-up fee for "Print Ready" artwork.  This means Adobe or Corel Draw compatible (vector-based file.) For more indepth information, view our "Print Ready" Decal Artwork Requirments sheet.

OKI/ALPS Inks
  • Due to Global Supply issues worsening in recent years, the availability of OKI/ALPS Genuine and Compatable ink cassettes has become problematic. Ink may be sporadically availble or out of stock due to issues beyond our control.
  • Ink Cassettes are listed as available, what we have is what we list.

CMR Products was founded in 1990 by Bob Hartle originally developing and producing electronics kits for the Model Railroad hobby. We have since grown to include several in-house developed and aquired product lines serving a multitude of hobby interests.

Owned and operated now by Bob's sons, our goal is to enrich the various hobby industries we serve by striving to offer the best service and prices to our customers on innovative, domestically produced products.

The first commercially availble decal set sold by CMR Products was released in 2014, printed on Tango Papa paper. Today we offer over 1,600 individual decal sets designed and printed in-house, still on Tango Papa paper.

Our current offerings primarily serve the Model Railroading and Vehicle Modeling hobbies with future plans to expand into Wargamming and other Miniatures; as well as continuing to grow the Tango Papa Decals line of Rocketry Decals.
